We've turned 1!

Last night we hit our Kickstarter goal of £2500. Fittingly, it came at a time when we were fortunate to have some of The Script Department team, normally spread out across Ireland and the UK, under one roof to celebrate the first anniversary of the founding of our company.

We started this podcast to showcase great screenplays and the writers who realise them. Over the last 12 months, we've produced over 30 episodes and worked with incredible writers and voice actors from here and abroad.

We've told stories that explored mental health struggles, the climate crisis, ageism, environmental catastrophe, domestic violence, childhood trauma, friendship, humanity, professional wrestling, neighbours from hell, reality television, competitive stone skimming in Scotland, wedding planning and bringing back the dead (both with disastrous results). And we are just getting started.

It goes without saying that we couldn't have done this without the help of all our incredible listeners, writers, voice actors, production support team, our sponsors and, of course, our Kickstarter backers who generously gave to the project. It means so much to us to see such confidence in what we are doing and we can't wait for you to hear what we have in the works for this coming year.
